THE SENIOR OLYMPIC COMPETITIONS IN AKSAKOVO (BG) AS A GOOD PRACTICE ON THE THIRD TRANSNATIONAL PROJECT MEETING
The Municipality of Aksakovo hosted in the Town Hall the third transnational meeting of the European project "In common sports" from 3rd to 5th September 2018.
In the meeting took part representatives of the European project partners: Municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira (Portugal), lead partner, represented by João Fernando Brito Nogueira – Mayor of Municipality, Manuela Ferreira- Project Manager and Olga Pontedeira- Project coordinator; Polytechnic Institute of Viana de Castelo - IPVC-ESDL (Portugal), represented by Pedro Bezerra; Municipality of Cesena (Italy) represented by Rossi Valeria, Ciampelli Elisa, Colaci Sabrina, Guidazzi lara, Pasini Ester; company Zöldpont (Hungary), represented by Márton Dvorák, Eniko Nagy.
The European guests were welcome in the Hall of City Councillors, by Deputy Mayor Ruska Ilieva. The first day meeting agenda started with focus on administrative issues, the planning of activities and reporting work tables on the tasks that each partner has been implementing on its own territory.
The second day of the meeting included observation of competition Olympic for All. The first Olympic games in Aksakovo was opened by Mayor of Aksakovo –eng. Atanas Stoilov and Mayor of Vila Nova de Ceiveira João Fernando Brito Nogueira. In the morning was carried out athletics and football games. In the afternoon project team discussed about important project issues. After that participants had opportunities to observed basketball, national ball and folk dancing.
The third day participants visited Sport complex in “Kamchia” resort. Here took place swimming and on the beach was carried out volleyball.
The participants in the transnational meeting had opportunities met representatives of the project target group, to gain knowledge about Bulgarian folk dancing, Bulgarian nature and history through walking tour in Varna.
