OLYMPICS4ALL IN CESENA - ITALY

On 29th September, during the European Sports Week, the Municipality of Cesena organized the “Olimpics4all” event.
All project’s partners were present. The Mayor of Cesena opened the first edition of the post-COVID Olympics and the Municipality of Viana do Castello officially invited a representation of senior athletes from Cesena to participate in the Olympics to be held next year in Viana.

The Italian athletes (about 80) competed in volleyball, basketball and bocce, supervised by the high school students of Versari Macrelli Insitute, who acted as judges.
At the end of the event, the partners rewarded all participants with a certificate and a participation kit.

The event was part of the European Sports Week and the European Commission's “Be Active” initiative.
