Final event of ics+ project held in Cesena
On Thursday 19 October, the final event of the European project In Common Sport + was held in Cesena.
It was an opportunity to tell what has been done during these three years of the project and what results have been achieved.
The event was attended by project participants, some local sports associations, citizens and the Wellness Foundation.
The proceedings were opened by the Councillor for Mobility and European Projects Francesca Lucchi and the Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Sport Christian Castorri, who emphasised the importance of sport for the city and the great added value that this project has brought to the city in these three years.
They then reviewed together the different moments and activities carried out, with a special focus on training activities, the study on eating habits, and the experience of the Olympics in Portugal.
The meeting was also an opportunity to present to the city the videos that were made to describe the project and to replicate it in other cities.
During the event some athelets were awared with special prizes: the youngest athlete, the oldest, the most fashionable, the most diplomatic, the quietest, the most attentive and also the athlete with the most attendances.
