On December 18, 2023, 89 citizens participated in the filming of the “#BeActiveAwards 2023! Across Generations” in Vila Nova de Cerveira.
The Municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira was awarded by the European Commission as a result of the impact of the In Common Sports project in the territories.
In the event, which included young people and elderly people from the 10 municipalities in Alto Minho that participate in the Olympics4all competitions, the objective was to create a film that portrays this good practice of promoting active and healthy aging, representing in this initiative all partners and friends of the In Common Sports project: Comune di Cesena (Italy), Javni zavod za šport Nova Gorica (Slovenia) Аксаково (Bulgaria) Faculty of Education and Sports Sciences of Pontevedra (Spain) Superior School of Sports and Leisure of Melgaço - IPVC (Portugal) and the Zoldpont Association (Hungary).
It was a day full of physical activity and recognition for its project that seeks to encourage and motivate its citizens, especially the elderly community, to adopt healthy lifestyles.
