4º - Budapest - Hungary
The 4th Transnational Meeting of the „In Common Sports” was held in Budapest on 18-20 February. The partners met in the office of the host organization Zöldpont and the next days by the guidance of the project-manager, Manuela Ferreira spent with discussion about the developments, results and encountered problems of the joint project.
After the basic administrative questions Pedro Soares started the presentations with the main current questions and novelties of the research program. The brand new partnership of the „In Common Sports” had its first presentations in front of the other participants. José Mª Cancela Carral, who is the representative of the University of Vigo with his colleague, Nacho Rebollo presented the Spanish university, its work and the expected engagement in the project.
On the afternoon all the other partners presented the current situation of his/her groups: the experiences of the trainings, assessments in Cesena (Italy, represented by Luisa Arrigoni and Sabrina Colaci). They presented the details of the Italian competition: the sports, rules, number of participants and communication after that. Than talked about the training which are held indoor in winter.
The responsible of the Aksakovo’s (Bulgaria) partnership, Stefani Yordanova and Nadka Simeonova had a presentation about their work and results.
The host of this meeting, Zöldpont has the last presentations of the day. By the national project leader, Marton Dvorak was featured the Hungarians clubs of elderly peoples, and the statistics of the conducted measurements in Budapest and Százhalombatta.
The partners was able to exchange opinions, strategies about the trainings. After the technical meeting, the participants tasted Hungarian specialties in a restaurant and had a beautiful night view of Budapest from the Citadel.
The second day of the meeting started with Pedro Bezerra’s (the representative of Polytechnic Institute of Viana de Castelo) presentation about the exact datas of the first two assessments. The participants discussed the small mistakes made by during the assessments and mainly during the upload of the datas and had suggestions about the online platform. It was followed by the discussion about the new communication strategy leaded by Péter Cziráki from Zöldpont.
On the afternoon all the partners joined to the elderly training group for a Nordic walking trip on Normafa, the forest above Budapest. Together they walked up to the Erzsébet-tower for the view of Budapest.
